If you have health insurance, it is possible that you may have coverage for mental health treatment.
With your permission, my billing service and I will assist you to the extent possible in filing claims and ascertaining information about your coverage, but you are responsible for knowing your coverage and for letting me know if/when your coverage changes.
Before starting therapy, you should confirm with your insurance company if:
Your benefits cover the type of therapy you will receive
Your benefits cover in-person and telehealth sessions
If you are responsible for any portion of the payment
If your Counselor is in-network or out-of-network
